ABOUT:

Jade Hendren writes historical romance with flare – of the chronic illness variety, to be specific. Jade is the alter ego of young adult novelist Marissa Eller, and in both genres, her work explores chronic illness, mental health, and the wide-spanning impacts of disability. She spends her days in a niche corner of academia, and she lives in North Carolina with her family and her beloved chaos demon cat. She shares many hobbies with her regency-era heroines, like listening to music, afternoon tea, and conversing with friends. But her music is on Spotify, her tea is iced, and her talks with friends happen through a phone she’s arguably too attached to. With low angst and a heavy dose of humor, she puts a sick spin on the historical romance genre. She is represented by Katie Thomas at Beck Literary Agency.
